We currently meet at 5:30 pm on the third Tuesday of every month. Our meeting location is: MHMR of the Concho Valley, located at 501 West Beauregard, in the Multi-Purpose Room.

September 21 is the United Nations’ International Day of Peace. Established by a United Nations resolution in 1981, it was first celebrated in 1982. This event is celebrated worldwide every September 21 (a Monday this year), and the theme for this year is “Invest in Peace – For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day”.
Although San Angelo has observed the event in the past, it has typically included only a few prayers and drawn a small gathering. Given today’s turbulent times, my wife, Eldra, envisioned a larger community-wide celebration with guest speakers, community service agencies, live and recorded music, children’s activities (including Ben’s Bubble Show), and possibly food trucks (depending on availability). Because the event falls on a Monday, we plan to hold it from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. We have secured the large pavilion at Kirby Park (402 Edmund Blvd), which offers ample shade, protection from the elements, lighting, and a playground for the children.
